Description
A 4-ingredient chia jam recipe that’s faster, healthier, and naturally thickened with chia seeds. Packed with omega-3s, fiber, and antioxidants, this spread is ready in just 15 minutes.

- 1 pound fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or seasonal variety)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (or honey/agave)
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Wash and chop fruit if needed. Small berries can stay whole.
- In a medium saucepan, combine fruit, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Mash or blend fruit to desired texture, then remove from heat.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons chia seeds and mix well.
- Transfer to a clean glass container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to thicken.
Notes
Best stored in refrigerator for up to 1 month. Freeze up to 1 year in airtight containers. Always cool completely before freezing.
