Description
This festive Christmas jam blends tart cranberries with sweet strawberries and warming spices. Ready in just 10 minutes of prep, it’s the perfect holiday spread to brighten breakfasts, desserts, and gifts.

- 4 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 4 cups chopped strawberries
- 4 cups granulated sugar (or 3 1/2 cups coconut sugar)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Sterilize half-pint jars and prepare canning station.
- In a large heavy-bottomed pot, combine cranberries, strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and water.
- Bring mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until cranberries pop.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until jam thickens and coats the spoon.
- Test gel on chilled plate: jam should wrinkle when pushed.
- Ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Wipe rims, seal lids, and process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
- Cool jars on a rack 12–24 hours, then check seals before storing.
Notes
Maintain steady medium-low heat to prevent scorching. Always sterilize jars for safe preservation. Store sealed jars in a cool, dark place up to 18 months.
