Ingredients

  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Orange Zest

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries and remove any stems or damaged berries.
  2. Place in a saucepan with 1 cup water and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to low heat to simmer.
  3. Gradually stir in the sugar, letting each addition dissolve completely.
  4. Add lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; simmer 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in orange zest.
  6. Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving ½ inch headspace.
  7. Seal jars, wipe rims, and cool completely before storing.
